South Down Dental Clinic

How to prepare for your treatment

Your treatment may have specific preparation instructions and it’s important you are aware of these prior to your appointment.

Your dentist should discuss with you the information about the treatment that you are being referred to South Down Clinic for.

You may need to attend a consultation appointment when you first visit our clinic. Any special arrangements will be considered and a personal treatment plan with costing will be provided. Our team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

All guidance and information about your attendance to the South Down Clinic will be emailed to you. This will  include information on the procedure you have been referred for. Depending on the treatment that you require, there may be a requirement to follow a set of instructions for before and after care. It is very important that you follow pre and post treatment guidance carefully.

Medical history, covid history and consent forms should be returned more than 24 hours prior to your appointment.

A  guidance leaflet and information attachments  are primarily for your well-being and secondly to ensure there are no delays in being able to progress with your treatment.
